What is a “Unicorn Wine?” I say it’s a wine that is irreplaceable, perfect, and always incredibly hard to find. The term is very subjective as all wine should be, so it’s about personal preference. So here are some of MY unicorns that I one day hope to find in my glass again... don’t forget to invite me! #willflyforunicorns

The Rock In The Buildin’

I was recently asked what is my favorite vineyard in Burgundy, and without hesitation, I said Clos de la Roche…Yeah I could’ve said Romanée-Conti, but that would be pretty obvious and unquestionably boring- I am not. I then thought about the vineyard that never lets me down and the one I have no problem splurging this month’s rent on: Clos de la Roche! I seek the wines from this site more than any other, and I sure as hell drink them! Here’s my CDLR stash, and don’t forget to decant… Oh, yes, I did!
