- The 1999 Lot I (a blend of 67% Petite Sirah, 28% Petit Verdot, and 5% Zinfandel) exhibits a saturated blue/purple color along with enticing notes of creme de cassis, blackberries, smoke, and graphite. It is full-bodied, rich, layered, and dense, with high but sweet tannin. This impressive 1999 should age nicely for 8-9 years.
