Producing some of the most sought-after Burgundy, Domaine Henri Gouges was founded in 1919 by Henri Gouges. The estate covers 14.5 hectares which includes parcels in seven premier cru sites. A majority of the estates wines are made from Pinot Noir and we are excited to share with you our impressive selection from this Burgundian powerhouse.
Tasting Notes
- BH90–92
- A brooding and pungently earthy nose mixes dark berry aromas with humus, underbrush and sauvage notes. There is very fine richness to the suave and quite round medium-bodied flavors that retain a lovely sense of vibrancy on the lingering finish. This is finer than the Porrets but less powerful. A qualitative choice. Range: 90-92
